What makes people so jealous of Harley-Davidson motorcycles?

I think your V-Rod stats are seriously flawed as is your perception of jealousy.

Honda riders bash Yamaha riders, who bash Kawasaki riders and they all gang up to bash HD riders, who, let’s face it, tend to bash other bike riders. It’s the same with car owners, gun owners boat owners etc.
In 42 years of riding, I have owned 26 bikes, the last five have all been Harleys. I still like the big honda street bikes, I owned several, I also owned Yamaha, kawasaki, 1 BMW, triumph, hodaka,bull taco,even a crotch rocket or two, and more.
In my book, it doesn’t matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

Well considering a Vrod is a dead nuts copy of a yamaha model made 4 yrs before its release, i suppose it could be kinda fast.
I think Suzuki? has a bike that will do 270 mph stock with the limiter removed. Something tells me HD dont seem so fast now does it?
And to brag that HD high performance crotch rocket can beat a standard jap touring bike is some feat i must admit.

Cause all the sportbikes but the bigest and fastest will lose in a short race to the V-MAX. Harley had to go to partial liquid cooled motor in the v whatever cause you cant make an air cooled engine make enough horsepower to stick with the jap stuff! I own a Harley Softail and a Suzuki Hayabusa. They both have there pro’s and con’s….depends on the situation.
