I’m 5’9″, but that is not me on the bike. He is atleast 6’0 and the clip-ons are not at that aggressive of a position any more

    fucked lovely

Now that is called sound improvement ;-) The nightster is the only Harley in my opinion that looks somewhat good without serious modifications.

I love this bike. Its small and retro. I need to get one. Does it go prety good with the 1200 evo?

  • 2006STX says:

Are the handle bars stock? I like how low they sit.

  • theshyeone says:

Yes, the bike is pretty quick

  • theshyeone says:

The handlebars are clip-ons I bought off of ebay. they are not stock.

  • theshyeone says:

The pipes are slip on mufflers. Very simple install. Takes about 30 min. Take off the old mufflers and install the new ones. I did not remap after the install

Nice bike! I have the same one, vivid black Nightster, and even have Cycle Shack slip ons, lol. I want bars like that but I can’t decide if I want any risers or not. When you say they aren’t that aggressive anymore, did you put risers on them? How much of a difference did it make? Any pics/video?

  • pbmax says:

  • juantheguitar says:

  • Brennafugg says:

As much as I want a NightTrain, realistically this is probably the perfect bike for me. I need to fall in love with it now and get it over with.

  • rayray40 says:

    Very nice Nightster, sounds great.

  • bisonkhan says:

Harley understands their customers like bikes loud rather then powerful and to look as shop made as possible. I love all the time and attention and money to make something look like it “had” to be that way. Any off the floor Warrior would smoke this bike 3 to 1

  • barebones660 says:

Oh yeah i drag race mine all it has is exhaust intake and a dyno tune and i smoked a warrior in the 8th. He had more top end, but i smoked him so bad off the line he diddnt have near enough track to catch up

  • theranter says:

I know how you feel, I also would love to have the NightTrain, but alas it is too expensive for me, so I’ve come to the same conclusion and am planning on getting a Nightster…

  • mmcquilling says:

Thanks for the comparison to stock mufflers. Every post or review I have read about the cycle shacks seems to be a resounding YES! I just ordered a set last night and can’t wait to have more bark to my horse. Have you noticed any performance gains?

  • KerckhoveWVL says:

So how fast will your nightster go? I wonder if there is a difference between the US and EURO versions? Mine i’ve readen at 195/200km/H but i think that was about as fast as he will go, maybe if i wait some time longer but this hi did in a strong pull. That is about 123mph.
